Summer Trainees, Civil Engineering

We are currently looking for a summer trainee to join our Civil & Structural engineering team to our office in Porvoo and in Turku.

Your responsibilities during the summer

Your work assignments are related to civil & structural engineering tasks carried out at Neste Engineering Solutions Oy. You will be participating in projects where the output of engineering work is used for executing investment projects and maintenance of various plants, mainly in field of process industry. In your role you will support engineering work like 3D modeling of concrete and steel structures and as well participating in a solving of technical matters.

It is possible to modify the content of the assignment and responsibilities according to the selected candidate.

In addition we see that the best combination of experiences, skills and background in this position is:

• At least two years of studies in the field related to Civil Engineering (B.Sc / M.Sc)
• Ability to communicate in both Finnish and English on a clear and professional manner

• Knowledge and experience of CAD software

Join us for the summer

Your salary will be determined based on the complexity of the role and the number of course credits you have from your studies. Summer job takes place between May and August.

Our Porvoo office is located in Kilpilahti, only some 30 minutes away from Helsinki city center by car. We also arrange free bus transportation for our employees from Helsinki, Porvoo and the surrounding areas.

The person selected for the position must pass a health examination including a drug test. If required, a security clearance is obtained for the persons with their consent. Should the remote work recommendation continue during the summer, your manager will advise you.
