The Summer Trainee positions at Neste are now open for applications! We are looking for a trainee to join our Technology development team in Porvoo for the summer.
Your responsibilities during the summer
We offer interesting Business and Technology development tasks in various new Innovative projects where you can apply knowledge and theory gathered at the university. Depending on competence and previous experience, your tasks may include e.g. creating business landscapes, evaluating technologies and scouting and finding technology, process and player landscape data.
You will work closely with our Advisory Services and Process Concepts team members to accomplish the project goals.

In addition we see that the best combination of experiences, skills and background in this position is
- minimum of four years of university studies within Chemical or Biochemical process technology; Industrial Engineering and Management; Economics, Business or Management
- Minimum of 140 ECTS credits done, preferably Bachelor's degree
- Hands-on attitude, good team working skills
- Previous experience of consultancy or process development is an advantage.

Your salary will be determined based on the complexity of the task, the skills and experience required for the job, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies.
Summer job takes place between May to August. It's also possible to start earlier.

The summer job recruitment process may include a video or a phone interview at the pre-selection stage and – if you are invited to participate further in the selection procedure – an on-site interview in our Porvoo office. This interview may be arranged virtually due to the pandemic.

The person selected for the position must pass a health examination including a drug test. If required, a security clearance is obtained for the person with their consent.
