As our trainee, you will support the Sustainability Risks and M&A team in managing sustainability related strategic initiatives and implementing sustainability into our business.
Developing our sustainability risk evaluation and mitigation practices, processes and tools will be part of your job. You’ll be creating templates that support good sustainability governance. On a daily basis, you will support evaluation and mitigation tasks, however we will expect you to provide new and innovative ideas and be ready to act on them with the support of your team.
The team consists of sustainability professionals, and the main job of the team is to support Neste strategy by executing the sustainability vision. We will guide and support you and give a good introduction for the job and our company.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to be at the final stages of your Masters degree studies in a suitable field, e.g. environmental management or ESG regulation. Ideally, you also have some experience in risk management. We are looking for a trainee with excellent communication skills in English and motivation to learn.

Your salary will be determined based on the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies. For some roles, the recruitment process may include a health check and drug test. The planned time period for the summer job is from May/June until September/October 2023.
