Summer Trainee, Supplier Quality Control

We are looking for Summer Trainee, Supplier Quality Control. The location for this role will be Espoo, Finland. 

As Summer Trainee – Supplier Quality Control, you will:   

• Perform project quality inspections at suppliers

• Review and approve the supplier's Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and QA/QC documents

• Collect and review the final Manufacturer’s Data Record (MDR)

• Check the supplier’s manufacturing plan 

• Follow up on the manufacturing schedule and report progress

• Follow up on the quality objectives fulfillment

• Assist projects in creating project-specific quality requirements for suppliers

To succeed

• A higher degree study background for example in material or mechanical engineering or an equivalent education

• Welding and/or coating knowledge is an advantage 

• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks  

• People skills including the ability to influence people effectively 

• Ability to take ownership on the assigned tasks and projects and drive them proactively 

• Good communication skills in English and Finnish

The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
