Summer Trainee, Spare Parts

We are looking for Summer Trainee for our Global Quotation and Order Management (Metals) team and Smelting Spare Part Engineering team. 

As Summer Trainee, Global Quotation and Order Management (Metals) you will work with processing requests for technical and commercial support for spare parts. You will work together with product management, purchasing and logistics to meet the customer’s requirements.

In Smelting Spare Part Engineering team our main responsibilities are to handle customer requests and solve daily problems regarding spare parts, like parts identification and expediting coordination for quotations and orders. Active communication with purchasing, logistics, and product groups is a key part of this job

As a Summer Trainee, Quotation and Order Management, Spare Parts, you will:​ 

• Be the contact point between the customers and the product line organization.

• Create spare parts quotations in SAP

• Manage and follow spare part orders to be delivered to customer

• Co-operate with procurement and logistics teams

• You will be working in a truly global position with direct connection to customers.

To succeed:

• A higher degree study background in for example Process Technology, Process Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Industrial engineering or Customer Data Management.

• Positive customer service attitude and great work ethic 

• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks.

• Good skills in MS Office tools, experience or ability to learn SAP.

• Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and sales cases and drive them proactively 

• Work language is English. .

As Summer Trainee, Smelting Spare Part Engineering, you will:

• Input and support Smelting Spare parts sales and delivery cases

• Work with quotation and supply for the global spare part supply base in the Smelting business line

• Communicate and collaborate with all stakeholders in procurement and product management

To succeed

• A study background in for example process technology, metallurgy, materials engineering, data management

• Independent, adaptable, and flexible workstyle, but still a team player to help each other to succeed

• The ability to work with several tasks at one time and prioritize tasks to meet the deadlines

• Positive attitude and great work ethic

• Strategic and process thinking

• Language skills: English (written, listening, and oral)

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 1950-2700 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
