As our trainee in this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Shipping Europe RP team and work as a part of the team with your own responsibility area. Day-to-day operations include working with our systems, internal and external stakeholders. You will be supporting shipping front operators by handling and processing voyage related costs and invoices as well as inputting voyage details to reporting tools (IMOS/Nestor). Furthermore, this role will create initiatives to achieve emission reporting and invoicing lead time performance management targets. You will support the Shipping Operations team in daily vessel operations and back office duties.
Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are
Supporting the team’s daily performance by creating freight invoices of time chartered vessels
Inputting voyage details into reporting tool IMOS
Reviewing and handling of voyage and vessel related invoices and claims
Demurrage estimations
Other possible responsibilities and tasks assigned by the management
You will work closely with stakeholders in Invoicing and Payments teams, Claims & Demurrage teams, other back office teams and the rest of the Shipping team to ensure timely and correct documentation and reporting.

Applicable education (e.g. maritime, logistics, commercial)
Fluent English and Finnish, both written and spoken
Customer service experience
Experience in back office operations
Experience of commercial vessel operations
Positive can-do attitude and a proactive, energetic approach to work
Hands-on attitude, meticulousness and problem-solving skills
Strong team player attitude and excellent collaboration skills
Detail oriented, systematic approach
