Summer trainee: Service / UX / Visual Designer

We are looking for a summer trainee within the field of Service, UX or Visual design to join our team during the summer period 2020. You’ll have the possibility to work on various tasks based on your own background, and to learn from our senior designers.
The position is located at our office in Espoo Finland but might require collaboration with our other Design Lab locations in the Nordics.
We offer you
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the Fortum Design team on various design tasks within the fields of i.e. digitalization, sustainability, energy and mobility:
- User research projects; planning, designing interview scripts, conducting interviews and turning data into insights
- Service design projects; persona creation, customer journey mapping, workshop planning and facilitation
- Interaction design; concepting and wireframing
- Visual design; design of new components into our design system / UI asset library
Summer trainee period will be between May 2020 and August 2020.
We hope you to be at the end of your studies within relevant field of service, interaction or digital visual design.
You have gained already basic knowledge in either user research, service design methods, interaction design and prototyping techniques and tools (Sketch or InVisionApp) and / or visual design tools (Adobe PhotoShop or Illustrator).
You are fluent in written and spoken English, skills in Finnish are considered a strong asset.
