Job Description

Are you an IT, business or engineering student interested in ICT Service Management? We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Service Specialist to work with us at the Neles IT Infrastructure and Application Services teams.

In this position, you will be participating in Operational IT Service Management action, supporting Neles’ global applications and infrastructure teams and working with our service providers. You will be coordinating and solving various kinds of IT related incidents and monitoring incident resolving and working tightly with different teams and stakeholders in the organization. You will also be consulting other stakeholders and coordinating the problem-solving process, making sure the process is finished appropriately.

You will be part of a professional and supportive team, who will offer you valuable tools for development and guide you whenever needed.

To Succeed

Our ideal candidate has a relevant educational background (preferably IT or technical). You can be recently graduated or a student with 2-4 years studies completed.

You have excellent IT skills and a precise way of working, and you are willing to develop yourself. You also have excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset. We require fluent skills in English.

You are used to working with different systems and are truly interested in learning more about them. Most importantly, we are looking for a very motivated and proactive person who is ready to take responsibility!

• Excellent MS-Office skills
• Excellent communication skills and good teamworking skills
• IT orientation and willingness to learn IT skills
• Basic networking, server related and / or Windows operating system experience/skills a plus
• A problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Eagerness to learn and develop yourself
• Fluent skills in English and intermediate skills in Finnish
