Your part in Neste journey
As our trainee, you will support the Invoicing team in daily operative work. In your role, you will cover our permanent team members, in daily operational invoicing work responsibilities during their summer holiday period. Your daily duties are an interesting combination of invoicing activities in the system and invoicing related co-operation. You perform daily versatile invoicing tasks primarily in SAP or in Veson IMOS Platform system “Nestor”.
In order to succeed you collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure high quality invoicing on a daily basis. We will guide and support you and give a good introduction for the job and our company. We encourage you to contribute to development work by sharing improvement and automation ideas.
Your main responsibilities include
Perform daily invoicing workflow, by monitoring system automatic runs & carrying out related controls and/or doing manual invoicing, cancellations and reinvoicing
Review invoice details and do reconciliations in order to validate correct invoicing
Drive error investigations & invoicing related problem solving
Execute month-end closing activities according to given timetable and guidelines
Actively coordinate & communicate invoicing related matters with customers, service providers and internal counterparties
To be successful in this role, we expect you to be active and have motivation and hunger to learn. In this role you have an opportunity to familiarise yourself with practical everyday work responsibilities of Invoicing function in a big international Corporation.

Motivated, responsible and independent approach to your work
Fluent basic ICT skills. Experience in ERP or invoicing systems is an asset
Attention to details with ability to understand relevant bigger picture
Good problem solving skills
Fluency in Finnish & English, both written and oral
Flexibility to work past normal business hours (around monthly closing)
Business studies or other relevant major
We also value
Previous experience from finance, sales, customer service or logistics is considered as an asset.
Understanding of accounting basics
Interest and/or knowledge in processes, tools and interfaces
