As a Summer Trainee – Research in Tampere, you will:
Work with some of the following tasks: Rock testing, screen analysis and other tests at the Tampere research center rock laboratory. You will also analyze the results and report them to different systems.
To succeed:
A positive and spontaneous can-do mindset and a proactive approach to work
Positive attitude and great work ethic
An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks.
Good skills in MS Office tools.
Combined technical and business mindset
Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and projects and drive them proactively

An interesting position in the Technology team of Metso Outotec Aggregates Business Area. You will get a chance to work with professionals of the local research team, where your team will support your growth. You will have great opportunities to develop your expertise by learning how to work in the rock laboratory. Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.
