We are now looking for Research Trainee to Packaging Paper development at UPM North Europe Research Center in Lappeenranta.

What you’ll do
Plan, execute and report laboratory scale coating trials related to barrier coating development
Develop packaging paper heat seal testing procedure and analytics
Support the team in development projects related to manufacturing of packages
Who you are
We are looking for students with focus on paper converting and packaging or wood based bioproducts, and who have already advanced a bit in their studies
You have a positive and hands-on attitude, eagerness to learn new things and to take initiative and responsibility
You feel comfortable working in laboratory and pilot environment, also independently
You have good verbal and written communication skills in English and at least basic knowledge in Finnish
