Our team has a key role in executing Neste’s ambitious growth strategy by ensuring the supply of sustainable, renewable feedstocks to our refineries globally. As our trainee you will join the Supply Excellence team that works with our regional Supply organisations to develop our feedstock supply related capabilities, tools and processes. Our team is based at the headquarters in Espoo, Finland, and interacts with stakeholders in our Supply organisation and beyond across several Neste locations on a continuous basis.
In your role, you will
Deliver enhancements to our tools and processes for supplier management and feedstock volume potential forecasting and planning
Develop metrics to monitor our process performance and identify opportunities to improve processes to enable seamless growth and expansion in renewable feedstock sourcing
Build data and analytics capabilities to better understand and monitor our current and future supply capabilities as well as the feedstock markets globally
Develop and maintain communication, information sharing and change management practices within the global Supply function
Act as a substitute for the Supply team representatives in projects during the summer holiday season, where necessary
We are ideally looking for a candidate with a relevant field of study such as Economics & Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and Management, or similar. Work experience from positions that demonstrate good teamwork skills, stakeholder management and ability to lead your own work is considered beneficial, as well as any experience within the domains of e.g. Sourcing or Sales, Commodities management, Supply chain management or Logistics and Operations.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a necessity for this position. Good analytical skills and experience from using the most common IT tools especially for data analysis, such as Excel, Google Sheets and PowerBI, are an advantage.

All applicants must be students at the time of applying. Your salary will be determined based on the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies. For some roles, the recruitment process may include a health check and drug test. The planned time period for the summer job is from 1st May until 31st of August 2023. The dates have some flexibility and will be agreed on jointly with the selected candidate(s).
