Summer Trainee, Quality Engineer

We are looking for Quality Engineer Trainee to join Normet’s SSQ team in Iisalmi, Finland on 1 May – 31 August, 2023.  

SQE team is responsible for quality management and developing of quality assurance methods in mining and tunneling equipment production in order to achieve the set targets for quality, safety and productivity. 

In this position, you will participate on Development of our quality application and its reports with Microsoft Power Apps a Power Bi. Defining warranty management application functionality and comparison of available applications. Exact length of the contract can be negotiated according to your studying schedules.  

What we expect from you? 

• Polytechnic or university student close to graduation in suitable field, for example industrial engineering or software and systems engineering 

• Good communication skills in Finnish and English  

• Have the right attitude to work with a global network of people with different personalities and cultural backgrounds  

• Be able to work both independently and as part of a team 

• Be proactive and eager to learn  

• Have a can-do and results-driven attitude 

• Good ICT skills
