As a Summer Trainee, Quality Engineer, you will: 

• Handle warranties including root cause analysis and coordinate corrective & preventive actions

• Perform quality inspections: visual inspection, manual measurement tools and 3D scanning

• Coordinating quality inspections by the 3PL warehouse 

• Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders

• Claim quality issues from suppliers

• Improve product quality and product quality assurance process

• Work mainly at the office but have the readiness to travel domestically

 
To succeed 

• A higher degree study background for example in Mechanical Engineering

• Initiative, independent and systematic work style

• Eagerness to learn more, develop, and succeed in the role

• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks

• Good skills in MS Office tools, also SAP ERP preferred

• Fluent English and Finnish

• Global Supply Chain Management a plus and an understanding of Global Logistics Network

• Willingness to travel domestically

An interesting position in Distribution center operations of Metso Outotec Services. You will get a chance to work with professionals of the global logistics operations team, where your team will support your growth. You will have great opportunities to develop your expertise by learning about supply chain logistics. The distribution center operations team is managing and supporting Metso Outotec Services main warehouses in Finland, Netherlands and Germany. Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 1950-2700 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
