The Summer Trainee positions at Neste are now open for applications! We are currently looking for a summer trainee to join our Project Management team in Kilpilahti Porvoo.

Your responsibilities for the summer job

In your role, you will 

  • assist line managers and project managers with various tasks
  • help with project reporting
  • conduct tracking of project budgets and schedules
  • carry out data and document handling and management.

Tasks can be adjusted to match the Trainee's experience and level of education.

You will work closely with our project management organization and with various stakeholders as a part of an experienced project leading team.

You are motivated to learn, and enjoy working with a team for which safety, sustainability and professionalism are key elements of work.

Additionally, we see that the best combination of experiences, skills and background in this position would be

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering or similar education, approximately 70% of courses completed
  • good knowledge and know-how of Microsoft Office and Google tools
  • systematic and analytic way of working
  • good communication and interaction skills, both oral and written in Finnish and in English
  • ability to work independently and with the project teams.

We also value

  • good and open attitude as well willingness to learn new
  • previous work experience in similar tasks is considered to be an advantage
  • possible previous experience with Aveva ERM, Blue Cielo Project Portal, Silverbucket softwares.

Your salary will be determined based on the complexity of the task, the skills and experience required for the job, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies.

The planned time period of the traineeship is between May-September. A detailed time frame of the summer trainee period will be discussed during the negotiations.

The summer job recruitment process may include a video interview at the pre-selection stage and – if you are invited to participate further in the selection procedure – a face-to face interview. This interview may be arranged virtually due to the pandemic.
