Summer Trainee, Power BI Specialist

We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Power BI Development to join our Industrial Service & Equipment (ISE) Quality Team in Hyvinkää. As a Summer Trainee, you will be responsible for monthly updating, maintaining, and continuously developing current Power BI reports. You will also contribute to development of new reports based on business needs by collecting, harmonizing, and analyzing data from different sources. Furthermore, your daily responsibilities include supporting and coordinating several quality-related topics. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää with the possibility to work partly remotely.

What kind of talent are we looking for?  

This role is ideal for a business, IT, or engineering student who is eager to learn about quality management tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important. 

Requirements:  

• Academic background in studying business, IT, or engineering (preferably 2nd-4th year studies) 

• Proficiency in using Power BI (Dax language, data visualization, data modelling) and Excel 

• Strong analytical skill with the ability in processing and handling significant data with attention to detail and accuracy 

• Experience using SQL, QlikView and SAP ERP is a plus 

• Earlier work experience in quality management is seen as a beneficial
