Summer Trainee, Plant & Diagrams

We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Plant & Diagrams. In this position, you will join our project delivery team and have a chance to learn plant engineering design activities in our global plant delivery projects. You will work with design of plant P&I Diagrams and Process Flow Diagrams and participate in the preparation of other process-related engineering deliverables. You will gain experience in design software as well as Minerals processing and Metals refining technologies. For this position, background and studies in Plant Engineering and P&I Diagrams are considered as an advantage.

As a Summer Trainee, Plant & Diagrams, Minerals, you will:​  

• Work on our delivery projects together with our Chief Engineers

• Learn process engineering tasks related to plant engineering project

• Learn project work by using Metso Outotec's design software, documentation systems and quality systems

• Gain knowledge in Metso Outotec's Concentrator and Hydrometallyrgy technology areas

To succeed you will need:​  

• A higher degree study background in for example Process Technology, Process Metallurgy, Metals Processing, or Chemical, Biochemical, Materials Engineering

• Positive attitude and great work ethic  

• Eagerness to learn more, develop, and succeed in the role.​ 

• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks. 

• Good skills in MS Office tools

• Good spoken and written English

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 1950-2700 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
