We are eager to hear what you will say after the summer of 2023! 

 As our trainee, you will support the Simulation Engineering team in Simulator projects in model design and process modeling. Initial data management and other documentation activities will also be part of your job. On a daily basis, you will handle project related routines, however we will expect you to provide new and innovative ideas and be ready to act on them with the support of your team. 

The team consists of talented and international professionals, and the main job of the team is to support Neste strategy by designing and implementing Operator Training Simulators globally for NAPCON Train product line. We will guide and support you and give a good introduction for the job and our company. 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to be at the final stages of your studies in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation Technology or a similar, relevant field. You also have some experience of process modeling or process design. We are looking for a trainee with an understanding of most common unit operations in oil refining and petrochemical industry, excellent communication skills in English and motivation to learn.

Your salary will be determined based on  the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies. For some roles, the recruitment process may include a health check and drug test. The planned time period for the summer job is 1.5.-31.8.2023.
