Neste's growth story through mergers, acquisitions and partnerships is at the core of Neste’s strategy execution to create cleaner solutions for the planet. We have had quite an exciting journey over the past few years where we executed over 20 transactions of various sizes across the globe. 

The M&A team is responsible for leading the initiation, execution and integration of Neste Group-wide M&A activities. 

Your role as a summer trainee in the M&A team is to work with M&A professionals in supporting them in transaction process execution and coordination. You will actively participate in M&A projects and have first hand experience in how Neste conducts its M&A processes and makes strategic decisions. We will guide and support you and give a good introduction for the job and to Neste. 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to be at the final stages of your studies in Finance, Economics, Business or a similar, relevant field and have genuine interest in pursuing a career in the M&A sector. Based on your studies or previous working experience you would have a good understanding of basic financial analysis and valuation methodologies. We are looking for a trainee with excellent communication skills in English, motivation to learn and ability to take initiative. 

In your position you will report to the M&A Director.

Your salary will be determined based on  the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies. For some roles, the recruitment process may include a health check and drug test. The planned time period for the summer job is 01.06.2023-30.09.2023
