Our team is responsible for planning the integration of M&A target companies into Neste corporate IT ecosystem and ensuring the M&A target architecture blends in with the strategic business targets.

In your role, you will: 

• Support as project coordinator ongoing integration projects

• Perform process analysis of Neste business areas / subsidiaries

• Investigate new methods and templates for our team to succeed in the future

• Be responsible for renewing and developing Mergers & Acquisitions IT planning best practices, templates and instructions

• Cooperating and aligning our team’s work and methods with other surrounding IT teams 

You will be vital part of our team and in addition work together with surrounding teams like Cyber Security team, IT Portfolio management team, Enterprise architecture team and IT delivery teams to enable smooth and effective interaction and aligned development of IT organization tools & templates

To be successful in this role, we expect you to be motivated to learn, and enjoy working with a team for which safety, sustainability and professionalism are key elements of work. Additionally, we see that the best combination of experiences, skills and background in this position would be:

• You are in the final stage of your studies

• Majoring in e.g. industrial engineering, information science or business economics

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

• Previous working experience in a global company will be considered advantage but is not mandatory

• Analytical approach and ability to identify dependencies and key impacts in a bigger picture

• Have skills in basic IT tools like Google and/or MS office

We also value

• Cooperative working style with positive attitude and ability to work parallel with several assignments

• Experience in process definition and analysis

All applicants must be students at the time of applying. Your salary will be determined based on the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies. The planned time period of the traineeship is May/June 2023 - September 2023.

The summer job recruitment process may include a video interview at the pre-selection stage and – if you are invited to participate further in the selection procedure – a face-to face interview in Espoo. Depending on the situations, some of these may be arranged virtually. For some roles, the recruitment process may include a health check and drug test.
