As a Summer Trainee – Logistics, you will:​ 

• have full responsibilities of our logistics specialists during the g holiday season

• be responsible for monitoring open deliveries, booking shipments, handling export documents, invoicing and customer service.

• be working very closely with multiple global freight forwarders and our external warehouse partner

• also be working in daily contact with our internal and external customers around the world.

• The position includes working occasionally (once or twice a month) in our on-duty shift 11-19 EET taking care of customer needs and ensuring late orders leave during the same day. The preferred location for our summer trainees is Tampere, but also other Finland, Trelleborg in Sweden and Lithuania can be considered.

To succeed:

• We are preferably looking for a person who has a higher degree study background in for example logistics, supply chain management, international business or industrial engineering etc.

• Preferably you even have some working experience working in export sales or in the field of logistics.

• Knowledge of using SAP or other ERP is considered a big advantage but not mandatory.

• Most importantly you are interested in logistics in a global environment and willing to learn new things.

• You a have good customer service attitude and can communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of the Finnish language is considered as an advantage.

• Good skills in MS Office tools, especially in Excel.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 1950-2700 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
