Summer Trainee, Logistics

We are looking for Summer Trainees to various Logistics and Delivery management positions in Finland.

We have the following open positions:

Project Customer Logistics (one position)

This position is based in Espoo, our Logistics Sales Support, Project Customer Logistics team. Team is responsible on providing support to our sales teams on logistics related topics. Our main stakeholders are sales teams and the logistics service providers.

As a Summer Trainee, Logistics Sales Support you will work with the following tasks: team reporting and preparing monthly KPI reports together with the other team members. Supporting Logistics

Service Provider tendering and selection process and needed documents. Overall supporting our global team on sales support tasks

Project Logistics (six open positions)
This position is based in Espoo, our Project Logistics Region EMEA team. Other possible locations are Tampere and Lappeenranta.

As Summer Trainee, Project Logistics you will Work with some of the following tasks:

• planning, managing and monitoring of logistics in projects according to project specific contractual requirements and corporate processes and guidelines
• selecting and purchasing logistics services according to corporate sourcing rules
• managing shipping and transportation schedules according to project / sales order delivery schedule
• preparing required logistics and customs clearance documentation
• supporting L/C invoicing and documentation, whenever applicable
• supporting Customer in customs issues
• monitoring and reporting deviations to logistics budget and project delivery schedule
• managing non-project related miscellaneous shipments

Logistics Specialist (five open positions)

These positions are based in Espoo, our Logistics Specialists-team. Other possible location is Lappeenranta.

As a Summer Trainee Logistics Specialist your main responsibilities are monitoring open deliveries, handling export documents, invoicing and customer service. You will be working very closely with multiple freight forwarders and our warehouse partner in addition to being in daily contact with our customers.

SVS Project Management Support / Assistance (one position)

This position is based in Espoo, our SVS Project Management Support team. You will assist Project Managers with routine tasks including project setup and handover, planning, procurement, document control and management.
Furthermore, you will liaise with vendors/ suppliers (internal and external) to help expedite delivery of parts/ projects and documentation deliverables.
Ongoing communication, coordination and liaison will be required with project stakeholders and team members from Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Logistics, Quality and Technical Support, amongst others.
You will be assisting on the portfolio of Service ETO/ upgrade projects within beneficiation and dewatering technologies, Filters, Flotation, Automation, Thickeners.

• A higher degree study background in for example Logistics

• Eagerness to learn more, develop and succeed.

• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks.
• Good skills in MS Office tools

• SAP & MS Project experience is preferrable but not essential

• Combined technical and business mindset
• People skills including the ability to influence people effectively
• Ability to take ownership on the assigned tasks and projects and drive them proactively
• Excellent organizing and time management skills

• Good communication skills in English.
