Summer Trainee, Logistics Coordinator

Would you be a new member of the Logistics team?

The Logistics Coordinator trainee role will be a position with a variety of work tasks. You will support the Salo Plant logistics team and act as a liaison to many stakeholders.

Work days include the following tasks:

Main task is to help and support other logistics team members and managers in running issues. This is done by providing support to all different logistics functions for example transportation, packaging management, internal logistics, logistics development, material planning, production planning and change management. You will also communicate with various stakeholders, both internal and external, and keep track of upcoming deliveries and shipped products. Tasks also include updating and creating of logistics processes and work instructions in our operating system. Tasks might include running issues on shop floor as with working on reporting, documentation and other supporting tasks in office.

We hope you have:

• A bachelor degree or other similar degree in business/logistics/information technology/technical field
• Previous experience in logistics and strong understanding of shipping and transportation is beneficial
• Systematical, analytical and solution oriented working method
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good presentation, documentation and planning skills
• Good skills with MS Office programs
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English is required

The location of the job is our Salo Plant (Joensuunkatu 7 C 24100 Salo).
