As a Summer Trainee, KPI and Analytics, Espoo, Finland, you will:​ 

• Retrieve and validate data through our systems and complex data sets according to the business requirements & defined instructions

• Basic level analysis according to business requirements and functional specifications

• Coordinate and follow up with Metso Outotec IT on data set requirements in JIRA

• Produce and visualize data insights with analytics & BI tools

• Perform data refresh & quality checks to ensure data accuracy in reports, as well as support in preparing monthly reports

• Prepare technical documentation on technical field specifications and closely monitor system updates to identify impact on the quarterly reports' release documents

To succeed:

• Preferably a higher degree in mathematics, computer science, or statistics

• Proficient in various analytics & BI tools, such as SQL Server, Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform

• Experience in the application and implementation of design, scientific procedures and processes, and data analysis

• Capabilities in the collection, analysis, and synthesis of information and knowledge

• Ability to solve complex problems related to data sets, reports, and systems, as well as great analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 1950-2700 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
