As our trainee, you will support the IT Processes and Tools team in design and development tasks covering multiple process areas e.g. IT Financial management, IT governance, idea & demand management, resource management, development, change management, IT service & operational processes etc. You’ll be engaging actively with the teams to understand the current state and propose improvement ideas that will help IT delivery teams to be more leaner in their ways of working. Data quality enhancement and data cleaning activities will also be part of your job. We will expect you to provide new and innovative ideas and be ready to act on them with the support of your team. 

The main focus of the team is to support Neste strategy by ensuring everyone at Neste knows how to do IT. We will guide and support you and give a good introduction for the job and our company. 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to be at the final stages of your technology studies e.g. within digital systems, data science or computer science or a similar, relevant field. You also have some experience or basic knowledge of application development, IT processes, project work and/or IT Service Management. We are looking for a trainee with excellent communication skills in English, motivation to learn and ability to challenge and ideate process development.

All applicants must be students at the time of applying. Your salary will be determined based on  the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies. For some roles, the recruitment process may include a health check and drug test. The planned time period for the summer job is 2.5.- 2.9.2023.
