We are eager to hear what you will say after the summer of 2023! 

As our trainee, you will support the IT Continuity team in improvement projects in the IT continuity management area. Coordination and other rollout activities will also be part of your job. You’ll be creating content that supports the change and strengthens the emergency-ready mindset. On a daily basis, you will handle IT recovery planning & testing, incident process improvement routines, however we will expect you to provide new and innovative ideas and be ready to act on them with the support of your team. 

The team you are going to join is being built from scratch & will consist of 6 professionals in IT Continuity Area, and the main job of the team is to support Neste strategy by providing an in-house capability to make critical business processes more resilient towards IT disruptions. We will guide and support you and give a good introduction for the job and our company.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to be at the final stages of your studies in Computer Science, IT Management or a similar technical field. You also have some experience in IT recovery planning & testing on infrastructure/application levels. You also have at least 2-3 years’ experience in process improvement projects preferably in IT. We are looking for a trainee with excellent communication skills in English, motivation to learn and ability to participate in joint recovery exercises & process improvement initiatives.

Your salary will be determined based on  the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies. For some roles, the recruitment process may include a health check and drug test. The planned time period for the summer job is 01.05.2023-31.08.2023.
