We are now looking for a Summer Trainee, IT Business Services for Global functions to our head office, the Biofore House, in Helsinki.

What you’ll do  

• Work in a team that is managing IT services for UPM wide global functions like Finance, Treasury, HR, Sourcing, Corporate Functions and Stakeholder Relations Work in a highly out-sourced multi-vendor environment 

• Actively investigate ITSM processes and data in order to improve data utilization for the benefit of Service management 

• Contribute in enhancing IT service documentation and information sharing via various channels 

• Participate in coordinating various small enhancements and developments related to IT business applications 

• Be involved in IT compliance and assurance related assignments

• Have an opportunity to obtain insights to various IT solution development activities and projects 

• Be privileged to work with modern tools and great colleagues

Who you are  

• You have studied Information Technology and have already advanced a bit in your studies, basic level knowledge of ITIL processes and Service management are considered as an asset  

• You have a positive and energetic attitude, as well as readiness to take initiative and responsibility 

• You aim to complete the work items assigned to you in a prompt and timely manner 

• You are capable to adapt to different parallel assignments in fast pace and are not afraid of hands-on work

• You have good communication and coordination skills helping you to succeed in collaboration with various business and IT contacts as well as multiple IT suppliers  

• You have practical experience of utilizing Microsoft Office tools

• You are familiar with ServiceNow or other similar ITSM tool and processes

• You are fluent in English (both written and spoken)
