Finland is the location of the Nokia headquarters and a key location for research, development and manufacturing for Nokia. In Finland we are a community of around 6,500 employees representing about 80 nationalities.

At Nokia Finland we hire hundreds of trainees and fresh graduates throughout the whole year. In the summer season we have the biggest volume in hiring trainees.

For development trainee related tasks, it will be beneficial if you have at least some of the following competences:

Within Manufacturing Technology or Automation & Industrial Engineering your main responsibility will be to give technical support to production lines & machines and to maintain & develop manufacturing processes and solutions. In Tester Factory your main responsibilities will be tester construction or purchasing activities. Within Digital Manufacturing & Connectivity your will develop and deploy SW for use cases that transform the factory operations. 

As a trainee within you will act as manufacturing engineer in one of the following areas:

• SMT

• Automation

• Industrial Engineering

• Tester Factory

• Digital Manufacturing & Connectivity

In the roles you may contribute to

• Manufacturing automation

• Technology implementation and development

• Board assembly

• Final assembly

• Building up and maintaining production lines or testers

• Equipment and tools

• Maintenance

• SW development

Within RF & BB HW test engineering, we have opportunities in 5G functional testing development, also may involve construction, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production testers in our product programs in co-operation with R&D.

Previous experience in testing as well as any knowledge of radio frequency and digital technology will also help your application stand out from the crowd.

Qualifications for all positions

We expect that you have several years of studies in polytechnic or university. It is a benefit for you if you have some experience or familiarity of some of the following areas:

• Industrial engineering including automation, SMT and manufacturing technology

• Test engineering in general (development, maintenance, platform)

• Production

• Product repairing

• Quality assurance

• R&D

You can communicate effectively in written and spoken English and work independently or in a small team, from whose members you will get all the support you need. It´s necessary that you bring some embedded characteristics with you.
