Finland is the location of the Nokia headquarters and a key location for research, development and manufacturing for Nokia. In Finland we are a community of around 6,500 employees representing about 80 nationalities.
At Nokia Finland we hire hundreds of trainees and fresh graduates throughout the whole year. In the summer season we have the biggest volume in hiring trainees.
Summer Trainee in Oulu, Buyer or Other Supply Chain Specialist
Material Management and Supply Chain Management are responsible for material availability in short-term time horizon by managing and continuously developing supply chain in order to fulfil customer expectations. These organizations are also accountable for Inventory management, supplier collaboration and total landed cost.
We have two different trainee roles open;
Buyer trainee you will be responsible for purchasing base station products like:
Components
Units
Mechanics
Supply Chain Specialist trainee your work will be related to:
Supplier collaboration
Component sales
Import & Export
In both roles you will work closely with supply chain as well as other operations functions, such as production, R&D, different suppliers or other external stakeholders.
We hope that
You have good negotiating skills
You have strong communication skills (also in English)
Ideally, you are studying Engineering or Economics
It would be a beneficial if you have some experience of telecommunications or in purchasing, logistics, production, quality assurance and R&D.
