Summer jobs are usually between May to August, we are flexible with the start and end date. The salary is based on the amount of your credits – the more credits, the more salary.

Job description

In your HSE trainee role you will work in collaboration with the Uusikaupunki plant HSEQ Engineer. The HSE’s main task is to support the line organization with HSE-related topics. The daily tasks may and will vary, depending on the actions going on in the plant. You will learn how to follow and report HSE-related events, and how to investigate safety observations and incidents. You will have the opportunity to develop our proactive safety work, for example by creating instructions or material for safety moments among other tasks. You will also learn how to execute monthly 5S audits and how to report the findings.

You will be expected to take care of the daily HSE reporting with MS Office and HSE tools, investigating HSE observations and executing the 5S audits independently during the HSEQ Engineer’s holiday, so ability to learn fast is essential. However, during the independent work period you will get support from the Quality team when needed.

What we expect you to have/are

• Interest in developing occupational health, safety and environmental topics in EV manufacturing
• Studies in engineering, business management (safety, security and risk management) or other applicable field
• Work experience in industrial environment is beneficial
• Knowledge of the Management Systems ISO45001 and ISO14001 are beneficial
• Analytical thinking style with hands on attitude
• High level of self-initiative and motivation
• Good social and collaboration skills
• Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English are required
