Summer Trainee, Group Tax and Treasury

We are now looking for Summer Trainees to work at Finance tasks in Metso Outotec Headquarters in Helsinki, Finland. We offer summer jobs in Group Tax and in two Group Treasury teams.

As Summer Trainee – Group Tax you will:

• Participate in and handle a variety of corporate income tax and indirect tax related activities, such as transfer pricing documentation, tax planning, research, compliance, tax submissions, reporting, filings and assisting in tax audits.

As Summer Trainee – Group Treasury, you will:

• Support in Treasury’s foreign exchange exposure management and reporting
• Support in consulting units in foreign exchange risk management and internal funding
• Support in Metso Outotec group daily liquidity management
• Support in cash management development and bank’s Know Your Customer process
• Other Treasury related tasks

As Summer Trainee – Trade and Customer Finance, you will:

• Write articles to intranet about customer finance
• Update Trade and Customer Finance -presentation materials, e-learnings and various reports
• Support Trade and Customer Finance -team in various tasks such as handling guarantees, advising sales teams on financing products, such as Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, Export Credit Agency (ECA) guaranteed financing, and
• Be in contact with banks on trade finance related topics.

To succeed in these tasks, you will need:

• A higher degree study background in for example Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar field
• A positive and spontaneous can-do mindset and a proactive approach to work
• Positive attitude and great work ethic
• Eagerness to learn more, develop and succeed
• A customer focused and innovative mindset, and problem solving skills
• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks
• Good skills in MS Office tools
• Ability to take ownership on the assigned tasks and projects and drive them proactively
• Good communication skills in English
