Summer Trainee, Global Pricing and Analytics

We are looking for a Summer trainee, Global Pricing and Analytics to join Global Pricing Excellence team supporting aftermarket business across multiple Metso:Outotec business areas.

Location can be Tampere or Espoo.

Global Pricing Excellence team is globally responsible for:

• Providing information and analytics related to sales, prices and customers
• Facilitating pricing discussions between product lines and market areas
• Administering and communicating prices, and controlling price usage

As Summer Trainee, you will work with some following tasks:

• Assist in global list price management and pricing data administration in SAP
• Take part in updating monthly reports
• Support product lines with ad hoc analyses
• Contribute to the development of global pricing processes, tools and reporting

The duties can be modified depending on trainee's skills and interests.

To succeed you will need:

• A higher degree study background in for example: Business, industrial engineering, finance, or similar
• A positive and spontaneous can-do mindset and a proactive approach
• Positive attitude and great work ethic
• Eagerness to learn more, develop and succeed
• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks
• Take ownership on the assigned tasks and drive them proactively
• Good communication skills in English
• Skills in SAP, Excel, VBA, Power Query or Power BI are a benefit, but not a prerequisite. However, you will need to have the technical inclination to learn especially Excel usage during your traineeship
