Summer Trainee, Flotation

We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Flotation, Espoo, Finland.

The Flotation Product Group provides global technical sales support to Metso Outotec’s flotation products and technologies. In November 2021, Metso Outotec launched the Concorde Cell, a new flotation technology that sets a new benchmark in high-intensity pneumatic flotation by recovering unachievable fine and ultra-fine particles. This results in significant revenue gains for processing operations, minimizes plant operating costs, energy and water consumption per metal production targets.

As a Summer Trainee, Metallurgist, Espoo, Finland, you will:​ 

• Learn to create mineral processing flowsheets and simulations with industry standard HSC Chemistry® software

• Work with Metso Outotec’s very last flotation innovation, the ConcordeCellTM

• Set up and populate a database for all related ConcordeCell test work and flowsheet simulations

• A higher degree study background in Process Technology, Process Metallurgy, Metals Processing or Geometallurgy

• A positive and spontaneous can-do mindset and a proactive approach to work

• Eagerness to learn more, develop, and succeed in the role.​

• Teamwork and co-operation skills in a cross-cultural organization

• Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and projects and drive them proactively 

• Fluent written and veral English is required

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 1950-2700 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
