Summer Trainee, Electrics

We are looking for Summer Trainee to join Normet’s Electrics design team in Iisalmi, Finland on 2nd of May – 31st of August, 2023.  

The team is responsible of electrics system design and development together with control system, automation, hydraulics and mechanical design teams.  

In this position, you will participate in different stages of the electrics and automation design by collaborating with R&D engineers and under supervision of Chief Engineer.  

What we expect from you?   

• E.g. 1-3 years of Bachelor or Master’s degree studies from relevant field  

• Studies or experience from control systems and electrics are considered as an advantage  

• Good communication skills in Finnish and English  

• Have the right attitude to work with a global network of people with different personalities and cultural backgrounds  

• Be able to work both independently and as part of a team 

• Be proactive and eager to learn  

• Have a can-do and results-driven attitude
