Your role

You will be working with interesting tasks at our safety and environmental team. We are looking for an environmental and safety Summer Trainee for our EHSQ Team in Espoo from the beginning of May until the end of August 2020. Your job as an EHSQ summer trainee includes developing business area environmental and safety activities and support our team in different tasks, including describing and implementing EHSQ procedures, support in environmental reporting and co-operating with stakeholders.

As a summer trainee, you will have a great opportunity to learn how to work as part of Fortum's EHSQ personnel and gain valuable experience working in a global work environment. You will work with tasks related to district heating and cooling business, production and distribution and business environmental, safety and quality management activities. 

 

Your qualifications

You are about to finish your studies (Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering) and you may already have work experience in industrial environment. You have a successful work approach and you are a team player with an open mind and the ability to take initiatives. We expect you to have a strong desire to develop successful EHSQ operations.
