Summer Trainee, Documentation Support

We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Documentation Support to join our Crane Maintenance & Information Design team in Hyvinkää. In this role you will be working with technical content management related support activities. Your daily responsibilities include for example managing our internal support process for digital/non-digital archived technical content, publishing technical content to a global audience and small-scale digitization projects for archived content. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää with the possibility to work partly remotely.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a Mechanical or Electrical engineering, ICT or Business Administration student who is eager to learn more about technical content management tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:
- Academic background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, ICT or Business Administration (preferably 2nd-4th year studies)
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings and the basics of metadata enabled content discovery from your studies or working life
- You know how to use traditional IT-programs e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, etc.
- Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
