We are looking for Summer Trainee, Digital Technology, Metals.
The Metals Business Area at Metso Outotec is developing and delivering technology for the processing of raw-material into metals used in everyday life and especially those that play a vital role in the electrification of society. For our customers to improve the sustainability of these metals, we create digital solutions, e.g., intelligent sensors, simulators, a digital twin- and advanced process control applications.
As a Summer Trainee – Digital Technology, Metals, you will:
Explore into how tech is used in metals industry
Get tasked with your own summer-project designed to your capabilities
Share what you have accomplished so that also we can learn from you
To succeed
ability to take ownership of your project and drive it proactively
to have an end-user-driven mindset and the necessary IT skills, which we hope you also bring forth in your application
a higher degree study background in for example Automation, IT, Process Technology, Process Metallurgy, Metals Processing, industrial engineering, or customer experience (CX).
Language skills are always beneficial, but English will make work life easier

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 1950-2700 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
