Are you interested in an opportunity to spend your summer in a team where we deliver advanced analytics solutions using process mining, AI & Automation.

You will be working in the Intelligent Business Processes team at Business Process Leadership Center of Excellence (BPL CoE). The BPL organization is a supportive operational arm of the Neste process owners' network in leading, facilitating, running and supporting implementations as well as analyzing business cases (continual process improvements). On top of operational support to the process owners and stakeholders, the BPL organization drives the process maturity forward as a part of the wider process strategy with the process area specific focus, priority activities, and capabilities development with Intelligent Business Processes.

At the Intelligent business processes team we develop solutions with process mining, machine learning and automation to enable Intelligent business processes at Neste. With process mining we deliver end-to-end business process visibility and embed intelligence in business processes with AI and automation to predict and prevent any anomalies. The focus of the summer trainee will be on business process analytics part of our solutions portfolio.

Your responsibilities for the summer job

In your role, you will

• Work in close collaboration with our business process development managers, process owners and business stakeholders to identify the process improvements opportunities and support daily management with business process analytics
• Translate business requirements into business process analytics use cases and models and communicate insights back to business stakeholders with Celonis process mining analyses and dashboards.

Additionally, we see that the best combination of experiences, skills and background in this position would be

• Final stage of university studies with IT or Engineering background
• Know how of relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, SAP HANA
• Experience of SQL or Python & dimensional modelling
• Experience of working as a data analyst or academic projects on data analyses, Machine learning
• Analytical, curious and ability to see the big picture
• Ability to articulate complex topics in simple form
• Proactivity and self-driven mindset

We also value

• Know how of business process management
• Knowledge of Process mining & Celonis.
• Knowledge of of Lean & Six Sigma

Your salary will be determined based on the complexity of the role and the number of course credits you have from your studies.

The planned time period of the traineeship is between May and September, depending on your availability.

The summer job recruitment process may include a video interview at the pre-selection stage and – if you are invited to participate further in the selection procedure – a face-to face interview in Espoo. Depending on the situations, some of these may be arranged virtually.
