As our trainee, you will support the Data Analytics, Development and Process team in Procurement. You will work closely within the team with Data Analysts and Development Managers as well as Procurement internal and external stakeholders to ensure necessary metrics for decision-making and to strengthen the Procurement data analytics practise. 

In your role, you will 

• Independently develop and support the development of procurement analytics PowerBI reporting and visualisation of the data to support the decision-making

• Participate in reporting, development and automatization of procurement key performance indicators

• Support in maintaining the administrative tasks of procurement tools

• Support users in the current procurement solutions

Procurement is responsible for indirect procurement at Neste covering a wide range of goods and services for Neste’s businesses, operations, refineries, and investment projects. Our team is responsible for data management, analytics and performance metering of the key processes - sourcing, purchasing and supplier management. We are also responsible for the development of global procurement tools, practices and processes.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to be at the final stages of your studies in engineering or business majoring or minoring in areas of data science, business analytics, procurement / supply chain management or similar. We are looking for a trainee with excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, motivation to learn and ability to participate in procurement data driven reporting projects. We also value an active approach for problem solving with team player attitude as well as practical experience of ETL, BI tools and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Your salary will be determined based on  the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies. For this role, the recruitment process includes a health check and drug test. The planned time period for the summer job is 2.5.-30.9.2023.
