As our trainee, you will support the New Sourcing Markets and Business Models team in the renewable raw material / feedstock competitive intelligence area. On a daily basis, you will gather, consolidate and analyse competitive insights and data from a variety of sources, both from external sources but also in collaboration with internal stakeholders. We expect you to synthesise your findings and prepare impactful presentations to internal stakeholders. You will drive and maintain the existing competitive intelligence processes and tools within the team.

The team consists of three professionals, and the main job of the team is to support Neste strategy by leading our expansion to new sourcing markets. Our team is a part of a global organization, working in matrix with different regional teams of feedstock sourcing development. Additionally we are a member of Neste’s competitive intelligence network.  We will guide and support you and give a good introduction for the job and our company. 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to be at the final stages of your studies in business, or industrial engineering or a similar, relevant field. Experience from management consulting or business/financial analyst work is regarded as an asset. We are looking for a trainee with excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, motivation to learn and ability to participate in further building our competitive intelligence capabilities.

Your salary will be determined based on  the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies. For some roles, the recruitment process may include a health check and drug test. The planned time period for the summer job is preferably 1.5.-31.8.2023.
