Meet some of our trainees from last summer! We are eager to hear what you will say after the summer of 2023! 

Our Carbon Neutral solutions team is part of the Marketing & Services business unit and we are responsible for the acceleration of sustainable solution and partnership growth. We are identifying customer needs and designing solutions that help our customers to reach carbon neutrality. This is just the beginning of our journey and we are looking for someone eager to learn together with us how to change business mindset towards customer centricity and design thinking. 

As our trainee, you will support the Carbon Neutral solution team in design process by co-facilitating workshops and documenting findings, documenting and visualising the collected data and participating in utilising it in service development and customer specific cases. You will also get to assisting service development with various tasks from conceptualising to go-to-market planning and together with the service designer, take broad conceptual ideas from user interviews and help translate them into meaningful product features for customers who use our sustainability insight services.

Your day will include understanding customer challenges, supporting in creating new services and  helping to build a roadmap to our new solutions. You have the opportunity to be independent in a customer-driven environment, working with a cross-organizational team.The team consists of 5 professionals, and the main job of the team is to support Neste strategy by creating more value with sustainability to our customers in road transportation, contractor business, cities and aviation industry. The keys to success

To be successful in this role, we expect you to be at the final stages of your studies in design, social, sustainability or other related field studies. Great asset would be if you also have some experience of service design. We are looking for with great communication and people skills, analytical mindset and excellent communication skills in Finnish and English. We know unicorns are rare, having a background in UX development, visual design and usability testing is not necessary but great to have. 

We are looking for someone who brings a positive attitude to your work and to the people you work with, is curios-minded and passionate about sustainability.

Your salary will be determined based on  the job and its requirements, your relevant previous working experience and the number of course credits you have from your studies.
