Summer Trainee, Automation Product Management

As Summer Trainee – Automation Product Management, Tampere, you will:

• Participate in the development of future automation and digital offerings from a product owner perspective

• Test and promote new solutions

• Improve automation and digital offering-related presentations and customer documentation

• Develop sales and technical training materials

• Update product descriptions and specifications; share knowledge with internal stakeholders

•  Assist automation product management in other daily tasks such as quotations and technical support

To succeed, you will need:

• A higher degree study background in for example Automation engineering or Industrial engineering

• High interest in automation and digitalization

• A positive and spontaneous can-do mindset and a proactive approach to work 

• Eagerness to learn more, develop, and succeed in the role. 

• A customer-focused and innovative mindset, and problem-solving skills 

• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks. 

• Good skills in MS Office tools (especially in Excel & PowerPoint), we also use SAP, Salesforce, and other PDM CRM tools

• Combined technical and business mindset  

• Good communication skills in English and Finnish

An interesting position in the Aggregates Automation team of Metso Outotec. You will get a chance to work with professionals of the local Crusher team, where your team will support your growth. Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.

The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
