Summer Trainee, Automation Engineering

We are looking for Summer Trainees to join our Automation Engineering team in Tampere, Finland. The Automation Engineering team is responsible for product development and maintenance of control systems and monitoring and data visualization systems for crushing and screening equipment. These machines work in harsh environment, which gives high demand for control system endurance, quality, reliability and usability.

As Summer Trainee - Automation Engineering, you will work with some of the following tasks:

• Modifying and building tests simulators

• Testing of control systems and automation components

• Creation of automation support documentation like manuals and training materials

• Designing of control system

Tasks will be fitted to match your skills and experience

To succeed:

• A higher degree study background in for example Automation engineering

• Positive attitude and great work ethic

• Eagerness to learn more, develop and succeed.  

• A customer focused and innovative mindset, and problem-solving skills

• An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks

• Good skills in MS Office tools

• Ability to take ownership on the assigned tasks and drive them proactively

• Good communication skills in English and Finnish are required

The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
