Quality – at Wärtsilä ensuring the highest quality in our operations involves experts working with departments and functions throughout our businesses. Our quality experts are a vital part in enabling us to move towards our visions of the future. In this area, the positions offered for the summer will be related to different areas of quality, such as customer, process or product quality operations, depending on the team.
Responsibilities:
All work related to Quality is guided by the Wärtsilä Way as well as our task related targets, safety guidelines and quality standards. Continuous development and innovation are a part of daily tasks, so you will also get the chance to help us develop our operations within your responsibility area. You will have independent work responsibilities but also support your team in daily tasks and reporting.
As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to work in various areas of expertise depending on your interest and field of study while making it possible to develop future marine and energy technologies. These areas can include tasks like documentation, quality inspections, data analysis with suppliers, project quality planning, claim management and warranty handing while ensuring the feedback flow and continuous improvement.
