Manufacturing & Assembly consist of different functions within our Delivery Centre Sustainable Technology Hub (DC STH), where we develop, deliver and maintain world-class engine products and gensets sold by Marine Business and Energy Business. To support us in our priorities of delivery precision, optimised costs and world-class quality, we focus on finding competent and motivated trainees.

Responsibilities:
As a summer trainee, your main task is to perform work in your area of responsibility according to instructions, tools, machines, and standards. You will manufacture components or take part in assembly processes as a part of a team. Your tasks will also include active participation in continuous development processes for quality, safety and manufacturing methods as well as ensuring work safety.
In the Summer Power campaign, we have trainee possibilities for instance in the following areas:
Machining
Maintenance
Pre- and Main Assembly
Requirements:
We are looking for self-motivated team players with interest towards hands-on work.
As an ideal candidate you have
On-going studies in a relevant field (Technical education from a vocational institute, B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent)
Good language skills in Finnish or Swedish
Basic language skills in English
Good communication and documentation skills
Basic skills with IT systems
Active and target focused attitude towards work
The ability to work well in cooperation with your team
Note! Some of the positions may have Finnish or Swedish as language requirements.

To ensure a fair and equal compensation for all selected trainees, the salary for each trainee is set based on the level of studies and/or the number of study credits they have acquired . For trainees working in factory roles the salaries are calculated based on hourly compensation, and those working in office roles the salary is defined as a monthly salary.
