We are hiring 500 students from all technical and business fields to work with us in different positions, located in Vaasa, Helsinki and Turku with remote opportunities and flexible ways of working.

Information Management (IM) integrates processes, systems and information, supports businesses in digitizing core operations and enables new digital business opportunities via technology and information. For development minded persons, Wärtsilä IM offers an opportunity to shape the future of our business and be part of the global digital transformation.

As a global company, Wärtsilä also offers other IT related positions for the summer for example in Cyber Security and Software Development and different Operational Development teams located in business functions.

Responsibilities:

Trainee positions and tasks vary depending on the teams and tasks you are interested in. For the Summer Power campaign, we are recruiting trainees for instance to positions in the following functions:

• Platforms for ERP, CRM and PDM

• Information Security
• Cloud Security
• Infrastructure & Network Security (IT/OT)
• Vulnerability Management
• Identity Access Management
• Data Security
• Security Architecture
• Ethical Hacking/ Penetration testing
• Project Management Development

Requirements:

We are looking for motivated and energetic students with a “can-do” attitude. We value team players with the ability to cooperate in a multicultural environment.

As an ideal candidate you have:

• On-going studies in a relevant field (Information Technology, Software Engineering, Industrial Management or equivalent)
• Desire to get involved with the latest technologies
• Working fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Positive attitude and motivation to develop yourself

Seen as a benefit:

• Hands-on experience with Net, C#, Python and/or SQL
• Power BI related skills
• Some experience about Robotic Process Automation
• Other program and software related skills (remember to mention these in your CV)
