Summer job - Turn Around Engineer trainee

Would you like to be part of the exiting future of Borealis and go beyond boundaries together? We are looking for a Turnaround Engineer Trainee for Kilpilahti, Porvoo.

In this role, you will get to learn how we ensure a smooth turnaround in our production plants. Together with our Turnaround organisation you will be responsible for turnaround planning and construction site supervision. 

As our summer trainee, these will be your main tasks: 

• Planning the becoming turnaround and the infrastructure related to it  

• Construction site supervision 

• Analysing and making improvements regarding safety 

• Maintaining and updating technical documents  

About you

The best fit for this role would be you who studies engineering or construction for the 2nd – 4th year. We hope you to have good cooperation skills and you are motivated to learn and develop. You will be given a fair share of responsibility, so a proactive attitude helps you succeed in this role. 

As we are working in multicultural working environment, you should be a fluent communicator in Finnish and English. You also need to have good IT skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).  In Borealis, safety is priority number one, so you have a strong focus to proactively promote and drive the health, safety and environmental awareness and behaviour.
