Would you like to be part of the exiting future of Borealis and learn about corporate communications? We are looking for a Communications Trainee for our production site in Kilpilahti, Porvoo. 

As a trainee in communications, you will be working with internal and external communication matters. With your experience in coordinating and implementing communication through different channels, you will support the company and brand reputation and overall Borealis strategy. 

As our summer trainee, these will be your main tasks: 

• Implementation of internal/external communication via different tools and channels

• Implementing communications activities, projects and other initiatives – special focus on communication related to our major maintenance and investment turnaround 

• Support in providing information to the society about plastic related topics and our products to build a positive image of plastics, create employee engagement and company advocacy 
   

About you

We expect you to study Communications or equivalent and already have some communications-related work experience. Excellent written communication skills, including editing skills and ability to synthesise complex information and crystallise key messages with a keen eye for detail and quality are important in the role. Photography and filming skills including editing is an advantage. To succeed in this role you should have native-level Finnish and excellent English language skills.
The role requires a pro-active, service- and open-minded attitude. Also a can-do attitude is appreciated. 

The position covers summer months from mid May to mid October but the more detailed working period is negotiable.
