Summer Intern - Test automation engineer

Role Summary/Purpose :

Healthcare is the next industry facing mobile revolution. GE Healthcare has a global center of excellence for wearable patient monitoring solutions in Helsinki. We make healthcare affordable and accessible and help healthcare providers improve patient care. In this summer intern role you will develop test automation solutions for wireless sensors as part of our novel patient monitor system based on wireless technologies.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Your main responsibility is to design and develop test automation solutions used for system and integration testing
  • The work also includes development of the test automation platform, libraries, and other test tools

Qualifications/Requirements :

  • 3rd year or higher in Engineering or Science studies
  • Experienced in Python
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
  • EU work permit

Desired Characteristics :

  • Understanding of different measurement technologies and sensors
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and embedded systems is considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Robot Framework
  • Experience with Linux and shell scripting
  • Experience with Git and Gerrit
  • Experience with continuous integration
