We use Sulapac's unique bio-based and fully biodegradable packaging material made from renewable and sustainable raw materials. We use wood only from sustainably managed Nordic forests. It contains no harmful components, has a low carbon footprint, and can be processed in the same way as plastic. It is the world's first mass-producible premium eco-packaging material.

Your responsibility at Sulapac is the blow molding research and development for the tube and bottle packaging. You operate with the production prototypes and pilots, as well as enable transformation into mass production of finished products.

Your key focus is to develop the recipes for the material and the processes for the production, including the report creation. You function more on practical rather than theoretical knowledge. In the R&D team you develop your responsibility area with customer- and business orientation together with other Sulapac professionals. Traveling in Finland and abroad is part of your work.

You are solution oriented, analytical and persistent. With systematic, practical actions you secure achieving the results with high quality. You are comfortable in start-up environment and bear your share of responsibilities. You are an independent team player, communicating actively with colleagues. Your English is fluent, other languages like Finnish are an advantage.

You have a technical university degree in engineering and practical knowledge of polymers blow molding and/or extrusion. You have already some years of experience from applicable practical research and production work, understanding of different research methods and report production. Knowledge of biodegradable materials or natural fibre composites is considered as an advantage.
